1. What services does Together in Steps provide?
Together in Steps delivers one-on-one NDIS capacity-building supports focused on independence, executive functioning, and daily living development.
Services support adolescents and adults aged 17–50 living with developmental or mental health challenges.
Supports are primarily delivered one-on-one to ensure structured progression and personalised learning alignment.
No. Services focus strictly on capacity building and independence development, not direct personal care.
No. Supports are structured, teaching-based capacity-building services, not clinical or therapeutic treatment.
Progress is tracked through observable improvements in executive functioning, communication, and daily independence. Each participant works toward clearly identified goals, and sessions are documented to reflect progress, challenges, and next steps. Where required, written updates or summary reports can be provided to participants, families, or support coordinators to assist with plan reviews and ongoing goal setting.
Transport may be incidental to sessions but is not offered as a standalone transport service.
Supports are available for adolescents and adults living with autism spectrum disorder, Fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, ADHD, anxiety, and related developmental or executive functioning challenges. Services are delivered as structured life skills capacity building, with supports adapted to individual learning styles and independence goals.
Services are delivered across Sydney’s Inner West and surrounding suburbs. Supports take place within home and community environments to reinforce transferable independence skills in real-life settings.
