About Us

Education-based disability supports grounded in structured learning, measurable outcomes, and independence-focused practice across home and community environments.
Our Story

Real Experience. Real Impact.

Welcome to Together in Steps, where structured teaching meets purposeful independence. Built on a commitment to measurable capacity building, the service focuses on strengthening daily functioning, executive skills, and confidence for adolescents and adults aged 17–50 living with autism spectrum behaviours, Fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, anxiety, ADHD, and related developmental challenges.

Together in Steps was established with a clear direction: to deliver one-on-one, non-medical supports grounded in structured learning systems. The goal is not passive supervision or therapy, but practical, teachable progression. Every support is designed to break complex life demands into manageable components, reinforced through repetition, guided practice, and measurable outcomes.

The service model draws on structured educational teaching principles. Concepts such as scaffolded progression, reinforcement, and systematic goal tracking are embedded into daily support delivery. This ensures that learning is measurable, adaptable, participant-centred, and outcome driven.

Together in Steps operates with clear professional boundaries. Supports are independence-focused, structured, and aligned with approved NDIS registration groups. Personal care is not provided, and transport is incidental to service delivery rather than a standalone offering. The focus remains firmly on strengthening functional ability and building transferable skills across home and community environments.

The approach values consistency, predictability, and long-term development. Skills are reinforced across environments to ensure progression is sustainable, not situational. Community participation, household responsibilities, executive functioning development, and communication strengthening are delivered through structured frameworks designed for measurable growth.

Founder & Director

Natali is the founder and director of Together in Steps, bringing a structured, education-based approach to NDIS capacity building. With hands-on experience supporting adults with autism spectrum behaviours and Fragile X syndrome, she has developed a strong understanding of behavioural regulation, communication development, and routine stability. Her familiarity with Down syndrome further strengthens her practical insight into adaptive functioning and structured independence progression.

Holding a TESOL diploma and teaching background, Natali applies proven educational methodologies to her disability support work.

She designs measurable, plan-based learning systems grounded in repetition, scaffolded progression, guided practice, and observable outcomes. Complex daily living and executive functioning skills are broken into manageable steps, allowing participants to build confidence through structured reinforcement.

Her work is systematic, participant-centred, and outcome-driven, ensuring supports are purposeful, measurable, and focused on strengthening long-term independence across home and community environments.
